Metro Custom Dyeing

The producers asked us to dye a small slip cover for "The High Low Project" with Sabrina Soto. After further collaboration, they decided to film a scene at our New York City facility.

The scene will be airing this Summer.

Super Model and Sports illustrated Swimsuit Model Jessica White came to our facility in the Garment District to consult with our dyer on a dress dyeing project. After reviewing colors, our head dyer and Jessica planned the perfect shades. The dresses were dyed in 24 hours and shipped overnight express to her Hollywood hotel just in time for the charity event that she was hosting.

Kaufman Studios in Astoria New York where they are filming Men in Black 3 came to Metro Dyeing with a urgent rush. Our night shift was asked to custom dye 30 jump suits to a bright yellow shade, then dye produce a dirty greasy look. Keep an eye out for the dirty yellow jump suits in Men in Black 3.

Producers at 30 Rock Studios in New York City routinely use Metro Dyeings clothes dyeing services to over dye clothing articles used on the show. In this case, we were asked to over dye the apron that is used by Dr. Ozs assistant on the show. The owner of the company was given VIP passes to the show for him and his wife!

Just hours before the premier of ‘No Strings Attached’, Natalie Portmans assistant asked if we could dye her dress to a darker shade. Metro Dyeing dyed the dress and hand delivered it to her hotel room, it was a huge success.

The costume department of the Broadway hit West Side Story collaborated with our dyers for 2 months on inspiring and creating their entire wardrobe for the show. From tie-dyes, ombre dyes, dress dyeing, bleaching, acid dyeing to various clothes dyeing services, we did it!
